Good Shepherd Church is a friendly and welcoming Anglican community in St. Catharines, ON whose members share the same passion for seeking Jesus' glory and Biblical Truth. Christians of all ages and walks of life are welcome.
“Let the little children come to me… for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” - Luke 18:16
Children are valued at Good Shepherd Church, and we want to support families as they seek to raise their kids to love God and one another.
In fact, it's our parish heritage.
Over 100 years ago, Good Shepherd Church was founded on a community's desire to teach children about Jesus. Throughout the years, many have come to know Jesus through our children's ministry.
That remains our goal today - to pass on Jesus' teachings to the next generation (2 Timothy 1:5).
Good Shepherd's desire is that children will learn how to live in the love of Jesus every day of the week.
Sunday School is offered every Sunday during our 11:00 a.m. gathering. Your children can go to school, stay in the sanctuary with you, or enjoy our quiet room at the back of the sanctuary.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.” - 1Timothy 4:12 (NIV)
The teen years are exciting and challenging. We want teens to know how much they are loved by God. More importantly, we want them to create a vision of what they can become if they allow God to be the King of their lives.
Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” - Matthew 22:37-38 (NIV)
We love to study God’s Word, encourage each other in our walk with God, deepen our friendships, and support each other through good times and bad. Feel free to join any of our groups and make new friends!
